Backhoe

Attaches to tractor. Light duty only.

Brush Forks & Brush Clamps

Picks up cut branches and brush for removal to burn pile, usually by truck.

Bucket (Tractor Attachment)

Light duty only. Wood chips, loose dirt, manure.

Chipper

Turns brush into wood chips for use on trails and paddocks. Runs off a power take-off (PTO) from the tractor.

Disk

Pulled by tractor. Used to keep fire roads clear. Also in paddocks and pasture.

Dust Retardent Tank

Fuel Tanks

Filled about twice a year. De-icer added to diesel in winter.

Harrow

Spiny teeth dragged behind the tractor break up dirt clods in paddocks and elsewhere.

Pasture Harrow

Breaks up dirt clods to facilitate new grass growth

Lawn Mower

Little-used. Landscaping service mows lawns at main gate, barn, and kennel

Pasture Mower

Pulled and powered by tractor. For pasture and some brush.

Rowboat

Used for treating pond weeds and removing them, sometimes with small electric outboard. Also used in river for appraisal of stream bank restoration.

Snowblower - New

Can't handle wet snow.

Snowplow

No longer used. Will sell.

Could sweep roads. Not used and not needed.

Ranch Truck

Hauls logs, hay, and equipment.

Verminator

Angled blade cuts open gopher tunnels etc. Poison runs from box down tube into hole. Disk blade not necessary. Used on trails.

Water Truck with Sprayer

Diesel truck with 1,500 gallon water tank is used to keep the dust down while moving brush on dirt roads. Gasoline engine at back left corner pumps water through the sprayer (horizontal white PVC pipe).

Weed Trimmer

Unused. Landscaping service trims weeds.

Wood Splitter
